Google Maps: Spooky sight caught on cliffside in Mexico – what’s going on?

Google Maps Street View is used by people to help navigate their own country as well as destinations all around the world. More recently, the tool has been used to spot some strange and spooky occurrences. The tool is usually used as an online mapping service which is owned by Google.

Sometimes the most bizarre scenes found on Google Maps go viral, catapulting the user to fame.

Other scenes found on the tool go down in history.

This haunting image unfolded on a cliffside in Baja California, Mexico.

The image appears to depict a cliff face on the coastline of Mexico.

The cliffs are brown and blue water can be seen at the bottom of the image.

Grass or seaweed of some kind can also be seen growing on the cliffs.

At first, the image seems to look completely normal.

But if you look closely, the image takes on a more sinister look.

Three holes can be seen in the side of the cliff which clearly depict a screaming face.

The scene looks so spooky that it almost looks like a monster’s face is emerging from the cliff face.

The spooky scene was spotted on Google Maps by a Reddit user.

The user posted the image with the caption: “This spooked cliffside in Baja California.”

The post was immediately inundated with comments from users.

One user said: “I am Groot.”

Another replied: “I thought the same when I saw it.”

Another said: “Baja California Sur!”

One simply said: “Sur!”

While another user commented: “Like the ruins of Castle Grayskull.”
